apparanlty my modle is closly related to the suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa

so apparantly mines a 'babybusa'
Im afraid someones lied to you there mate they are completely different bikes, dont have anything in common apart from the first 3 letters. GSX is just the Suzuki code for sports tourer. Your bike can trace its history back to the mid-80's, when an earlier version was called the 'teapot' cause of the fairing or something, but its been updated since then, the Hayabusa only came out in about 2000. Its a good buy nonetheless and a good solid bike, just dont tell someone with a Hayabusa that you've got a smaller version of their bike, they might have an accident with all the tears of laughter in their eyes! :P

Aye, true. :yy:

I doubt they would be insulted by saying that you have a smaller version of their Hayabusa. Might look at you weird, thats about it. It's better then being compared to a Cheap rip-off

Possibly, but not a very new one. I cant be sure but i think it was a seriously detuned (and sized down obviously) GSXR 750 engine from the mid 80's, you couldnt really say it was the same engine as they only used the basic parts for it. The engine in your bike did get put into the Bandit however, i believe, so its still a good solid engine with enough oomph to wheelie everywhere!
