Does anyone know whether or not applying for a graduate entry into medicine has any dependance on the university you got your initial degree from? e.g. would someone who got a 2.1 and went to ucl, oxbridge imperial etc. have a greater chance as someone who got a 2.1 at a lower ranking uni doing the same subject?

When I looked at applying and went to numerous open days, it came down to your results and how you did on the relevant entrance exam.

Do the research, ask the universities. Whether it happens post interview when it comes to choosing students who knows but med school is far more than just academic ability! You can have a first from 'insert famous uni of choice' but lack of any form of people skills for example.
