I have no idea what to do for my IOP!! The books our class has read are The Great Gatsby, To Kill a Mockingbird and The Lord of the Flies (all awesome.) However, I don't know what to do!! I want to do something creative, and I have an idea of wearing a ham costume (Scout does this in mockingbird) but how should I incorporate that into a presentation?

What does the ham costume mean in the wider context of the novel? What's special about it? What is the effect the author is trying to create using it? You have to do exactly what you do do with written commentaries and Paper 2 essays, except say it.

Alternatively you could do an empathic presentation, e.g. talking in the voice of Scout. About a third to half of your presentation would consist of a rationale, explaining why and how you've chosen to do a creative task, and then you could do a monologue in the voice of Scout. You'd still have to show knowledge and understanding of the text to get a good mark.
