I've been having lots of trouble sleeping and can't get my sleeping schedule sorted out. I've heard that this is the thing about most likely to work in the UK (sleep aids you can pick up from the shelves don't, for me.) The question is, where can you buy it? Do you have to speak to a pharmacist, and will they let you buy it if you're under 18, or would I have to ask an adult to go for me? Are they likely to actually have it in store or would you have to order it?
Thank you for any replies.

You need to be over 16 to buy it. A pharmacist will provide it to you but they might ask you questions about it first, it's not an off-the-shelf medicine. I expect most places will have it in stock though.

Nytol is good for a one off but not if you've got regular sleep trouble. Try sorting out your sleep hygiene first though, i.e. don't spend time in your room unless it's to sleep, no blue light (laptop, phone, tv) before bed, no caffeine after midday etc.
Have a bath with this too - http://www.boots.com/en/Johnsons-Bab...-x-500ml_5129/
It's for babies but it works.

If it's just your schedule that needs to be fixed and not some other problem then you can import some melatonin from the US legally. You can also get it on rx here but that would be £8 or whatever ridiculous fee it is now and it costs half as much to import.
