Hello, I am new to TSR because I have a question. I am currently doing four AS courses (English Lit, History, Sociology and Classics) but it's looking likely that I may end up dropping Classics early and only having three AS Levels.

I want to go to university (unsure of which one) to study English. If I only have three A Levels when I apply, will this be a problem?

Thank you in advance!

No, university offers are for 3 a levels and that's all most people do.

Three AS levels maybe a problem, three A levels won't be.

No matter what I am keeping English Lit, History and Sociology for A2. I can do well in them but I feel I could fail Classics and it's looking like I won't be staying on the course. I was cautious about dropping it but at the end of the day it will look better if I have three good grades as oppose to three good grades and one fail. It would make more sense for me to give more time to the subjects I can do well in I think...
