Hello!
I'm currently on my second year in Sixth form and for A2 Sociology they changed our teachers and now I have a totally incompetent one that doesn't know how to teach.
I'm the type of person that uses notes and text books for sociology and last year's teacher used Napier Press AQA AS Sociology textbook but the A2 one doesn't cover Mass Media and our alternative seems to be AQA Sociology Nelson Thornes which is no good.

Basically I was just wondering if anyone knew of good, comprehensive sociology A2 textbooks for AQA that covered Crime and Deviance and Mass Media??

I feel lost and am scared for when the exam time comes.

Thanks!

For Crime and Deviance I'm using the Napier Press one, which is really thorough and helpful.

I think most people do religion for unit 3 so I'm also struggling to find a decent revision guide for Power and Politics, but I'm pretty sure the Nelson Thornes one I was looking through in the library the other day had both politics and media. I plan to use that one when I start unit 3. It looks pretty detailed, I just don't really like the layout.

So yeah, have a look for a Nelson Thornes book maybe! They're generally pretty detailed.
