Currently have East Anglia which wants ABB. But thinking that this may be a but too high?? Should I go safe instead and apply to something like Keele (BBB) or Oxford Brooke's (BBC)?

What are the grade requirements for your other four choices? Personally, I think you should have something like BBB as a backup, unless you are sure you can get at least ABB. By the time you need to choose your firm and insurance choices, you will probably know what grade you are more likely to get at the end of the year. Therefore, if you are underachieving slightly, you could have BBB as your insurance as a 'safety net'.

Would you still be happy to go to Keele / Oxford Brookes? No point putting down an insurance you'd never actually go to, but something around the BBB mark would provide more safety than ABB.
