If you're buying for home then get a pair of running shoes instead.

Cardio machines at home are a poor financial decision.

Neither, either go outside and do it for free or join a gym.

Why in gods name would you buy either? The road is vastly superior to a threadmill and is free, or you can join a gym for £30/month and use all of their equipment. Also avoid taking up room in the house.

In terms of which machine is better, the threadmill will burn calories faster but is harder work.

both are crap, get some trainers and run outside if you must run, or join a gym and strength train

I can see where OP is coming from. It's getting cold and not all places are great places to run.

Use which you prefer, but a treadmill can be really noisy
