Hi, I'm a mature student looking to enroll on a part time hnc via open learning through the University of Teesside. Can anyone tell me whether I should first register for the course with the uni, or apply for a tuition fee loan first?
Thanks

I would apply for student finance first as you need to send them documents in the post so it can take a few weeks to get confirmation.

I would apply for Student Finance first - get all of your documents sent to them, and wait until they have acknowledged your application, and then start applying for unis. SF can take AGES so it is best to get it sorted sooner rather than later.
