I'm doing a piece of writing for English. ,i'm stuck of what would be a good word to use in the blank.One word preferably.
"Dedication is (a) .........."
I basically want to say Dedication is something important /of value.

Vital aspect (/element) of *whatever you're talking about* ? Or just 'is vital'.

Or: worthwhile, transferable, advantageous, useful, helpful
That's all I can think of.
