    Hi guys

I've run 3 packs of my pill back to back I only have 3 days left now and I've been bleeding for the last week I know that can be a common thing I'm just wondering if we I stop taking my pill on Monday and have my 7 day break will I get a withdrawal bleed as normal? Considering I've already been bleeding for a week?

Yes, breakthrough bleeding is normal and fairly common after running multiple packs together. Depending on how much you've been bleeding (is it spotting or more like a proper period?) then you may well have a normal withdrawal bleed next week, or it could be a bit lighter than usual. Even if I've been spotting it doesn't seem to noticeably affect what my actual withdrawal bleeding is like, I just carry on as normal.

That's why you should follow the instructions and run maybe 1.5-2 packs together when you actually NEED to eg for a holiday.

Well, it's not dangerous and it doesn't always happen - plenty of people always run multiple packs together with no issues. I always take 3-4 packs in a row. I have spotting occasionally but it's no big deal.

True, but doctors advise that you don't run several packs together or do it very often. Especially if you're like me and your blood pressure has gone up slightly and you're more prone to deep vein thrombosis etc.
