I think everyone needs to respect our differences, and society needs to be much more open and inclusive, there needs to be work on reducing societies prejudices towards them too!

it would help if they stopped stealing stuff so readily like those kids that wait at ATMs, and pick-pocketers. They've got to stop it! Find a job, picking rubbish or something or traffic wardening, not stealing.

if they want to fully integrate themselves to our society all they have to do is:

-stop stealing/pickpocketing/begging
-pay taxes
-get another job other than washing car windows/selling flowers on motorways

I like how they're 'nomadic' but when they're in England they stay here instead of moving.

So should they just leave ?

Surely they can't be worse than some ethnic groups in society (not mentioning them to avoid racism)

Stop letting them build campsites on people's land.

Plus, they should:

Get jobs.
Pay taxes.
Make their kids go to school and get an education.
Follow our laws.

That sounds more like Irish travellers to be honest?

Anyhow OP the established Roma community in Britain are already quite anglicised albeit they do live separately and retain certain customs from their heritage. I presume you are ones who has recently migrated from Eastern Europe?

Are we actually going to get these 100,000 migrants though? I was under the impression that it was just the Daily Mail exaggerating again.

Roma =/= Romanian

Roma are a nomadic people hailing from eastern europe in general. I believe I read somewhere that they are actually descended from India but I don't have a source.

Romanians are people from the country Romania.

Roma people are horribly treated all across Europe (including Romania) and typically live in separate communities.

Roma people have historically been nomadic but adopt a lot from the host culture.
