How do you calculate rmsd?

I can do sd but on a certain question i get Rmsd wrong.

question 6 page 42 of the orange s1 textbook

two thermostats were used under identical conditions. the water tempereatures in c are given below

thermostat a: 24 | 25 | 27 | 23 | 26
thermostat b: 26 | 26 | 23 | 22 | 28

i) calculate the mean and rmsd for each set of temperatures

I
get that the mean is 25 for thermastat A but how do i calculate the rmsd for thermostat a?
I worked out the sd which is 1.8, but how do i get the rmsd from the sd? Also is the Sxx 13? Or am i doing the sd wrong aswell.

thanks guys please help!
