Distance between point and plane (vectors) Watch

What s the distance from the point (0,1,0) and the plane which passes through (1,0,0) parallel to x=0?

We can represent the plane in the form of a vector using: (\vec{r}-\vec{r_0}).\vec{n}=0
I know it passes through (1,0,0) so I can say \vec{r_0}=(1,0,0)
But I'm not sure what \vec{r} or \vec{n} are.
Once I have found these I would use the formula: \frac{|\vec{d}\times\vec{P}-\vec{r_0}|}{|\vec{d}|} to work out the distance but I'm not entirely sure. Can somebody please help me.

Wouldn't this be where you'd stop and say: "Trivially, the answer is 1"?

Haha, I can see how you would have obtained that by observation, but since this is new to me I'm trying to do the question using the formula we've been given. Thanks for the reply

\vec{r} is a general point on the plane.

\vec{n} is a normal to the plane. Since your plane is parallel to the plane x=0, they will have the same normals. A plane with equation x=0 has a normal of (1,0,0).

Once I have found these I would use the formula: \frac{|\vec{d}\times\vec{P}-\vec{r_0}|}{|\vec{d}|} to work out the distance but I'm not entirely sure. Can somebody please help me.
You'll need to explain your additional symbols there.
