Is commuting a good idea for midwifery?
Hi, I need some help/advice!
I have applied to study midwifery at Kings and was wondering if I would realistically be able to commute. I live 40 minutes from London by train in Leigh on Sea, Essex so that is no problem for lectures and normal university meetings. However, my main concern was placements. Do any current students think this is doable?
My reason for not wishing to live in student accommodation is mainly economical - if I could commute it would save me a hell of a lot of money. This will be my second degree (studied psychology at UEA) so I'm not too bothered about the halls experience (which by the way is brilliant!)
