    Basically the title.

Is two a stars at a level for a post a level applicant enough to get an interview/offer or would you need 3+ A stars to do so.

    Thanks all.

3A* is the auto-pooling criteria. So I would say 2A* is the average post-A2 applicant, whilst to stand a better chance it would be 3A*+.

Ah right thanks for your reply. So getting 3A*+ will pretty much guarantee an interview for any course then right :-)

Yes and pool if you're rejected in the first instance (as of last year)

Trinity state that to be a competitive post-qual applicant you generally need 2A* for Arts and 3A* for science subjects.
