I'm doing a couple of IGCSEs this year - For those that have done any IGCSEs, I was just wondering about results day - when is it? Is it the same day as regular GCSE results day?

Mind me asking what's the difference between GCSE's and IGCSE's?

Well as it's early days I haven't noticed much difference yet, apart from the fact that there's no coursework and it's one big exam at the end rather than separate exams/modules.

Well IGCSEs are supposed to be harder, but they're recognised by UCAS to be the same as GCSEs. IGCSEs (International GCSEs) are taken by countries abroad, and by some schools in England in some subjects. They are more common in grammar or private schools than comprehensives. There is also no coursework - it is just an exam at the end. I also believe there is no government funding for IGCSEs, but I may be wrong.

In our school for English set 1-3 are doing GCSE and set 4-9 are doing IGCSE.. So is IGCSE meant to be harder?

I've been more than civil - I posted this thread days ago, and people were only responding with their own questions without answering mine. The only time I actually got an answer was from my 'uncivil' post. So yeah...
