Thank god, I start a new job next week and I can't see them being pleased if I can't get in! I'm a fairly new driver and I'm not risking it if there is significant snow, I feel a bit nervous on my own as it is

presentation in uni and new job for me this week too so I don't really want it to snow:tongue:

Probably many wouldn't want to miss their jobs  I would be angry if there would be snow in London because I love my new job :erm:

Got my snow boots, ear muffs and heated mittens at the ready, even though I don't think it will snow here...
Dammit, I don't even have a coat/jacket let alone a scarf, hat and gloves:redface:

I have my cat hot water bottle on standby:

Hehehhe can't wait. I can finally cycle to uni. :ahee:
I cant wait, where I live in uni is basically an ice cold wind tunnel, bit of a crisp change wont make much a difference
I have a fluffy hat.

Would this be an appropriate time to say: "Winter is coming"?

Awww. Do the two of you snuggle up and comfort each other on the long, cold nights?

I'm really dreading this. If the cycle paths get icy I'll have to take the bus (I'm a fairweather cyclist, adding hours to my daily commute to college :ashamed:

Other than that I'm not fussed, I like the cold

Just think it through first!
Icy slopes are only good for traversing in the downhill direction!

It does get tricky cycling when it's icy or slushy. I find it better once I'm used to it, but the first few days on a bike around town can be quite worrying.

Temperatures are going to PLUNGE according to the media, from Monday and for several weeks. :afraid:
http://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/nov/17/scotland-snow-uk-weather

It will fall as low as 3 degrees in many areas and there may even be snow over northern hills. :excited:

Are you ready for this extreme weather?

Are you nonchalant? :flute: Will you be huddling up? :grouphugs:

Things you will need.

* Shovels, grit, warm gloves and warm coat

* Husky team - public transport generally halts after the first flurry of snow

* Extra supplies of milk and digestives :cookie:

* Large selection of DVDs - it will be impossible to leave home :couchpotato:

******* YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED *********

This was a TSR public service announcement. Do not engage in unnecessary panic. Engage in necessary panic.

Don't worry, I'll get tennis rackets and make snowshoes for the bike. :borat:
