Since summer I have been apply for training contracts and I haven't had an interview or even heard back from any firms. The reason I suspect is down to my A - levels and one A - Level in particular I didn't do well. I did have mitigating circumstances but firms are not interested. I know that firms would prefer A - Levels to be sat in one attempt but would it be worthwhile to retake my A - Levels just to bump them up a little?

Thanks

I'm sure it's got more to do than with your A-Levels: How well did you do in your degree? How much effort are you putting in your apps? I know someone with significant mitigating circumstances who still ended up at Links despite a 2:2 in her degree, so that's certainly not holding you back.
