Starting the course before getting an answer Watch

I am really concerned about one issue

I got an offer from the University. The Course will start end of January. I applied for tuition fee loan one week ago sending my application and my passport and my marriage certificate (not sure if you need the last, but just in case) by post. I applied as an English student as I hold EU passport and have been living in UK more than 3 years.

The question is, will it be enough time to proceed with my tuition fee loan application? What will happen, if I will not get the answer from student finance before I actually need to start my course? Is it possible to start my course before getting an answer from Student Finance? And finally, if I get the negative answer after I started the course will I need to cover the tuition fee for the amount of hours I had studied?

Hi there,

We are currently working through applications received on the 14/11/13.

Normally applications take 6 - 8 weeks to process.

Providing you meet the eligibility criteria you will be eligible for support.

We will be in touch soon.
