I am a student from Estonia and would like to start my studies at university in UK in 2014. In September 2012 I started a course of higher education (Bachelor´s degree) in Estonia but withdrew in June 2013, having been studied for nine months. I have accumulated only 27 credits and I missed many of the tests, which were required to finish the academic year. I was studying at a state funded course. Will my previous studies affect my possibilities in applying for a full student finance package in UK for a three-year bachelor´s degree course?

Thank you for the answer.

Hi there,

All previous study is taken into consideration when assessing applicants.

Each student is eligible for the length of their course , plus one gift year minus previous study.

In your case , your calculation is as follows:

3 + 1 - 1 = 3 years support.

You are eligible for support for your course.

Thanks
