Intimidated by attractive girls

serious problem. say when im waiting at the bus stop, and a really hot girls comes stands and waits, ill start feeling really uneasy and wont even look at her and get a bit nervous lol.

Another example is when im in say a supermarket, and theres some good lookin lasses workin there and i need help to find something, ill usually ask the least attractive one rather than the others. Is this a confidence problem? Help, this is really getting me down, i always think no attractive girls will be ever interested in me, and im right (been told). :frown:

It's both a confidence problem and a stereotype problem. Firstly you have no confidence to talk to people you're attracted to. Secondly you assume that the more attractive a person is, the higher their standards are. You've probably been told by one or two people, or a group of people together, that you're unattractive - this just means they're not attracted to you. Don't let it get you down - the more practice you have, the easier it will get, try and see them as normal people, because that's all they are. And certainly don't talk to them imagining anything more than friendship - not because you couldn't get more, but because you then run the risk of getting disappointed in many different ways, and friendship's easier.

I can take a joke, but you constanly post and ruin many peoples threads in the H&R, take your "jokes" - overworked and not funny - elsewhere, to the chat or something, and stop trying to belittle everyone here to boost your own ego.

Have to say mate, I sometimes do the same! But then other times I'm all for approaching them. It depends on my mood at the time, it's all to do with confidence yes. Try it anyway, they'll apprechiate the attention. :wink:

I found it quite funny.

I have the same problem too and pretty much avoid attractive girls, like in the supermarket.
and when girls are (seldomly) nice to me, I wonder instantly what they want from me :smile:
