Besides the obvious in hard work and understanding content + appliance, I am asking people who have achieved the following in an A Level exams what other factors do you believed enabled you to get this mark

I hear a lot of people saying that it depends on the paper, but in your experience (i.y.e.) do you believe that you achieved such a mark through hard work and grafting, or by luck, or good preparation or an easy paper on the day?

Besides the obvious in what I stated in the first paragraph, what I have found for myself in doing past papers is that my marks vary quite a lot. At the moment on some past papers I achieve full marks whilst on others I achieve sometimes a B and even one time a D?!

So yeah were there any external factors that enabled you to do so well on the day?
