Do you find the 3 second waits you do help with hypertrophy? I don't do anything like that for BP and just focus on moving as much as possible (all the way down and up without being too fast obv). If it does I'll be mirrin.
Yep. I get a much better stretch by letting it sink into my chest, and I get lots of tension with the slow negatives. I don't lock out either, so the entire lift maintains lots of constant tension on my chest. I wouldn't base my entire chest workout around it as it isn't the be all and end all, but I think it has its place.

Chest/Shoulders/Triceps

Chest:

Barbell bench press - (not to failure, introducing some 5/3/1 strength work at the start of workouts)
100kg X 5
105kg X 3
110kg X 1

Didn't have a lift off, never again! The rack has steep pegs, I need to lift the bar a good two-three inches to unrack it, by the time I do I'm at full lockout. It basically becomes a tricep press, a 100kg+ tricep press just fatigues the triceps before I've even done a single rep, which obviously is no good.

Incline barbell bench press -
80kg X 12, 9, 7
60kg (slow negative/paused stretch) X 8, 6, 5
60kg X 15, 10, 8

Shoulders:

Dumbbell press -
22kg X 18, 12, 11
25kg X 9
30kg X 5
22kg X 10

Seated side lateral raises -
10kg X 10, 8

Triceps:

Skullcrushers -
EZ bar + 30kg X 7, 6
20kg X 11, 8, 6

Dips -
Bodyweight X 6, 4 (slow negatives with a 1-2 second pause and squeeze at the top for a better contraction, 1-2 second pause at the bottom for a better stretch)

Straight bar cable pushdown -
25kg X 9

It's nice to get a lift off but some of these ****ers suddenly release the bar before I've barely stabilized it. Trying to guillotine me for my gainz

I'm really picky with who I get a lift off from, as it makes all the difference.

I think Ryb is going to be employing that tactic to maim his way to the top spot in his gym!

Quads -

Barbell squat -
100kg X 3
120kg X 1
140kg X 3
150kg X 1
100kg X 10

Incline leg press -
160kg X 12, 10, 8

Leg extensions -
80kg X 10, 8
60kg X 8

Felt weak as anything today. Was up at 4am for work, on the back of 2-3 hours poor quality sleep, tired isn't even the word. Also, work really messes with my legs, all that walking and bending leaves me stiffer than when I take too much Viagra.

Something is better than nothing though.

Somebody tried to sell me creatine in the gym earlier. Not "creatine", actual creatine... LOL. He isn't a member, he is some street druggy, he just walked into the gym, onto the gym floor, and started trying to sell people some creatine tablets. Top lols.

The same guy has tried to sell it me in the street before.... he obviously either "acquired it" or bought it himself and is trying to make a profit on it for his heroin. My gym isn't even dodgy, they only sell whey shakes at reception, there are a few gyms where I'm pretty sure you can buy orange juice from reception. Nomsayin.

GAINS!

10/10 - Best shoulder workout I've had, ever.

Watching myself shoulder press 30kg dumbbells when a guy behind me was squatting 60kg for the same number of reps, made me moist, oh so moist.

I like how much volume you do.

Volume makes brahs big and strong.

I am also of the opinion that lifting hungover/drunk is a good thing. I've seen all kinds of gains since I started drinking heavily at least 1x/week. Nomsayin?
