Hi everyone, I have been test my first essay question but I'm not entirely sure how to go about answering. I was thinning of reading around the subject first. But i'm not sure.

It would be great if you could provide me with some a dive how to structure the essay or how to go about writing it.

Thanks.

The question is:

In 1989 HHJ Pigot QC published the ‘Report of the Advisory Group on Video Evidence’. This report was designed to ensure that children were not emotionally harmed when giving testimony in a Crown Court trial, and was one of the first that recognised that the adversarial trial can be harmful to children. Yet nearly 25 years later, serious concerns remain concerning the experience of child witnesses in Crown Courts. Why should we retain the system of adversarial trials if it causes harm to children and other vulnerable witnesses?
"You were thinking of reading around the subject"?

Really?

Go do it.
