I'm currently studying a BTEC extended diploma in art and design (fine art/photography) I quit A levels because the classroom environment was stressful for me, it was more that I didn't learn the way they taught, I ended up self teaching my GCSE'S. I got 11 A*-B, So I think I did okay I'm working as a councillor + Art teacher in a Summer Camp in America next year June-Sept, then once I get back I'm planning to study with the Open University, hoping to do an open degree in Childhood studies and psychology and I was hoping to get a job in a school whilst I'm studying, maybe as a teaching assistant, mealtime assistant or just in reception.

I just have no idea what I want to do really. Teaching seems like a really nice job, I'd rather teach primary aged kids than older kids as I don't think I have proper skills I'd be able to teach them, but we'll see I guess.

    I just don't know..

If anyone has any jobs that could relate to what I want to do, that would be ace!!

It sounds like teaching would be a good career for you. I'd recommend going for a teaching assistant job while you study rather than a receptionist job so that you can get a taste for it. Perhaps as you didn't enjoy the traditional classroom, you'd enjoy working at a Montessori school.

Alternatively, you could go in to academia and do research, because it seems you like to self-teach and find things out for yourself
