Hi I'm Chris and I'm 18 soon to be 19. I left school with pretty good GCSE grades and worked for a while and now am looking to go to uni. I've been looking at the access courses and they look like just what I need.

I want to do a Drama degree followed by ITT (Initial Teacher Training) so I can become a teacher. So I was wondering if doing an access course in for example Teaching and Humanities or Psychology would then allow me to take the Drama degree or would I be restricted to degrees in that field.

Any help appreciated!!

Your best contacting the universities you are interested with- they all have different policies. For oversubscribed courses I imagine you would have more of a problem getting onto them with non related access courses but you are best contacting them and asking.
