physiotherapy- need help to decide

Hello, I am currently on a gap year and hoping to get in for physiotherapy 2014, I have completed 2weeks private physio work shadowing recently and have a separate 4-day and 1-day NHS work placement arranged for early 2014.

I have also recently been selected for a days jury service but unfortunately this will clash with the 4-day placement so now I am struggling to choose on what to do.

My family really wants me to do jury service and they say it will look good on CV and will help me get jobs however physio is very competitive and getting experience will also be important so can someone please help me decide and what is likely to be more beneficial for my career?

i personally have never experienced anyone putting jury service on their CV, its a random ballot so doesn't really show any skills etc.

If physio is what you want to do, defer the jury service and do the physio work experience.
