I'm looking to buy a new laptop at uni, and Im going to study languages so I think there will be a lot of listening to CDs or watching films etc. Does anyone know if universities tend to have hard copies or digital copies as this influences my choice in laptops?
thankyou!

Even if they gave you hard copies you could rip so you had them in a digital format on a university PC, then copy them on USB and put them on your laptop. Or if it came to it you could buy an external USB C.D. drive for like £15. C.D.'s were getting old 5 years ago.
