What would be in your mind if the tomboy (typical type) in your class suddenly wears a dress to school/college?

"Oh, that person looks different to normal".

That would be the natural reaction. This happened to two girls in my year, and they had completely different reactions. One looked completely STUNNING and the other had such a boyish attitude that it just didn't look right at all. But she felt awkward so it was nothing she didn't already know.

Considering my own interest in clothes, it would depend on the dress.

I was in a sort of similar position. I used to dress 'emo' all of the time and it was pretty rare that I had only one layer of clothing on. I always used to wear jackets or jumpers to cover my arms because I was really insecure about them. I'm not that confident now but I am more comfortable with myself now and dress completely differently and that started happening half way through college, I think. Mostly happened over the summer, no one really said anything unless it was a compliment to the clothing. People might look but that was about it for me.
Just going to point out though, it's not really the time to start wearing dresses etc, it's bloody cold

If I noticed I wouldn't really care. It's more likely I wouldn't notice until someone pointed it out to me - I'm not very observant.

Sliceofcake, its summer all year long in my country. I'm in SEA.

I think I would feel very awkward and uncomfortable. Any idea of how to deal with that?
