can some please guide me on how to do this question please...so I can work on the rest on my own.

Describe how you would prepare the following solutions from a 0.2mol 1-1 stock :

a) 50ml of a 0.1umol 1-1 solution

All dilution calculations are based on the mass conservation - final solution contains exactly the same amount of substance as the sample you started with (and vice versa).

I assume 1-1 is in fact l-1.

How much substance present in 50 mL of 0.1 μmol/l solution? In what volume of 0.2 mol/l solution is that amount of substance present?

Yes sorry I meant 'L-1'
