Ok so this is a silly question, when you have an Asthma inhaler and it runs out, do you just get the cannister replaced or do you get the whole inhaler replaced?

It's for a short film I'm making. I don't have asthma and don't know anyone who does so just thought I'd ask.

Depends on the type of inhaler but yeah, it's normally the whole inhaler.

Some types you can stick the new cartridge in the old holder, if you're particularly fussy, but generally you just get a whole new one and throw the old one away. Probably wastes quite a bit of plastic but oh well
