I'm in year ten.
They sometimes come out with stuff you'd expect year sevens or primary children to say and I just feel that I have matured a lot faster than all of them.

Has/is anyone felt/feeling this too?

I grew up before my time. I'm jealous of people like that

But yeah, sometimes I certainly did feel like the only person who had their brain turned on.

Are you referring to people who shout out and answer back to teachers?

Everyone matures at different rates, and it always seems to be year nine and ten that people fall out in because of it in my (very limited) experience. Just try and stick it out for another year or so, they'll all grow up eventually...

In the lower years, I felt more mature than everyone else.
But as I got older, I felt my maturity was falling more and more behind my peers'.
