Social Work Masters Bursaries
My son is applying to do a Masters in Social Work next year (either September 2014 or January 2015, depending on which uni he goes to). The guidance for applying for bursaries says the deadline is 30th November. We can't work out whether that means he would need to apply by 30th November this year or by that date next year. Bursaries are not guaranteed and he may only be able to accept a place if he does receive funding.

Hello, as far as I'm aware he would need to apply to the bursary company before 30th November next year. The universities nominate the students they want to receive a bursary and then you send an application off the bursary company. This is done around June/july time so for your son July next year. The bursary company website normally say when the applications for 2014/2015 are open.
