St Andrews Modules

Re. taking modules in three subjects in your first two years at St Andrews, is there always enough room on courses for people who didn't actually apply for that course?

Sorry, not sure that makes much sense. Basically, I've applied for Modern History and French but am very interested in taking maths modules too - is this likely to be a problem for me?

I don't think taking maths modules would be a problem (so long as they don't clash timetable wise). To the best of my knowledge the only modules that have trouble with over-subscription are first year International Relations (which limits the numbers taking it as a third subject), and, should you ever feel the need, Bagpipe performance.

Thanks for your reply. Does the timetable usually stay the same each year?

The class hour, that is the time at which the lectures take place (although not necessarily the tutorials and classes), generally stays the same each year. Having looked at the timetables for the last couple of years, French and Maths have both been at 9.00 each time.
