I have my plan A: Check Track at 8:00 am refresh every second in vain hope that a university offer comes up, Plan B: Abandon the internet (technology's overrated anyway) and sit by the letter box like a dog waiting for the postman to deliver something vaguely ucassy or, finally, Plan C: Turn up ridiculously early at school in order to be first in a non-existant Q and to shout my name at some unwitting volunteer and rip open the envelope.

Argh so very scared now. Eat well today folks as you'll lose a stone from stress tomorrow

    Its not hard to understand...

I need an A in maths and want to know how many marks out of whatever I need. Just a bit of reassurance or the opposite.

Grade boundaries for the modules I did are quite low so that lifted a huge weight off my mind

Also noticed the answer to a certain question. After the exam me and a mate had a huge argument about the answer and eventually he convinced me the one I put was wrong, but no it was right. Hahar!

Do the universities only get your grades, or do they get the UMS mark as well? I seriously hope they do get the UMS, and they should because with borderline cases it could be important.
    Does anybody know?

Also, does anybody know what my chances would be in this scenario:

I've got an offer from Cambridge (Robinson) for Law, 2007, AAA. I'm doing physics, maths and english lit. I'm expecting (and hoping for) a really good English lit mark, which is obviously a better indicator of my aptitude for law than physics - my ability to construct an argument.
    480 UMS = A.
If I got, say, 478 or 479 in physics, so got AAB, but my English mark was high (say 560-570) could Cambridge be persuaded to take me? And who by - me or head of sixth form?

    thank you.
