It's a Dacia, they're crap in my opinion. Don't know why anybody would buy one considering reliable second hand cars can be had for cheaper, with more power, features, better safety etc...

I don't get why it's so shocking

It's not like I said oh I'm buying a veyron

Me and my sister both went private school so It's literally the same as the Annual cost that they do no longer have to pay for

I just don't get why such hostility towards not just me but people on here who have new cars
It's based on a last-generation Clio.

It's made in Romania by Dacia, owned by Renault. It mostly uses proven Renault parts. It uses old proven tech so less likely to go wrong, as there's few gadgets on it.

If it breaks, it'll have a 3 year warranty. If you want one, buy one. If you don't, buy something else.

Also look at the new Hyundai i10, due out early 2014. A bit more money, but 5yr warranty and very good reviews. Or, alternatively, you could look at a 3yr old secondhand new shape Fiesta. None are bad choices.

If you want a brand new car and are thinking about throwing that kind of money at one, then an MG 3 has to be worth a look.
Serious amount of kit on those for the money.
Top Gear reference surely?

MG3 getting a lot more favourable reviews than the MG6. We've had a 6 in at work on test, it was dire.

I quite like the 6. You get a lot for your money there too. You have to sit and measure it against it's real competition to work out if it's any good or not, mind..
Asking if a Dacia is a good car is like asking if Pol Pot was a good leader.
