Sauna survival tips and stories

Given that it's absolutely boiling out there i thought that i would start a thread so that you could either give tips for surviving the heat or any funny stories or incidents that have happened in this glorious weather, like wadrobe malfunctions for example

My tip : Now is the time to visit Santa in Lappland despite it being the beginning of July

(My funny story involves shoes and slipping out of them  )

Its not that hot...I hate the way people exaggerate how bad the weather is, yes, its hot, but its not like its actually affecting normal day to day functioning.

Can we have a bit of sympathy for those of us on the east coast of Scotland. We don't have the lovely weather you have, infact most roads in the area were flooded yesterday with the rain and we've had thunder storms for two days. Granted its warm but nothing like what everyone in England is getting :-(

If you have a fan, but a bottle of frozen water (ie ice) in front of it, as it makes the air really cool
