HMV Christmas temp group interview

Hello there!

I just got a phone call offering me a group interview on Monday to be a Christmas temp at HMV... I was rather surprised as I only applied last night! But hey ho.

I was just wondering if anyone has been to one of these interviews before, and if so, what sort of things are involved? I've googled it and I can only find old answers, I was ideally hoping someone would've been to one this year or last year so could give me some kind of up-to-date advice...

So, can anyone help? I'm always a bit skeptical about group interviews, I'm scared of coming across as too quiet or too domineering! Knowing what sort of things were going to come up might help me act more normal :tongue:

If it involves a team exercise they will be looking for team-working skills : good communication, actively taking part, leadership qualities etc So its not necessary they are looking for you to complete the task, rather how you work in a team.
I heard the first one to get a job is him/her who starts a conga line.

I tried it and it indeed works as I was given a position on the spot.

It's basic questions aswell so nothing to hard unless you don't want to work.
