What does it mean when someone says your giving them puppy dog eyes?

you know that look when your puppy's begging you? that "aw please?" look in someone's eyes? yeah. that's the puppy dog eye look.
usually, people use it when they're asking someone for a favor and that someone is quite reluctant to oblige.

Usually brown, big and very cute and absorbing. One of my ex girlfriend's had puppy dog eyes.

hahaha in a way yes, because it usually gets you what you want. USUALLY. not all the time.
and just to be a little more elaborate, people who don't have the big brown eyes usually pout along with the "pllleeeasseee???" look in their eyes.
