Leg waxing and swimming

Just a quick question - I'm planning on getting my legs waxed for the first time this weekend before I go off on holiday and was wondering if anyone knew if you had to wait a certain amount of time before swimming? I know with hair removal cream they recomment waiting a day so wondered if the same applied to waxing? I just need to know how many days in advance I'll need to book it for.

Thanks

well it's a good idea not to get chemicals into your newly waxed skin for at least 24 hours cos it'll sting. Other than that, I don't think there's a problem.
