There's a Rileys in town, so I'd imagine that there are snooker tables there. Royce had a pool table in the common room, and EHB has pool tables too.

A lot (if not all) of the halls have Sky subscriptions and big tellys, and I've been to EHB to watch football games plenty of times. Also been to the Griffin (I think) for football and pool.

Yeh there's Riley's in town, but you have to be a Rileys member, which is only about 5 or 10 squids. There are about 10 or so tables, and you can usually get one, unless it's stupidly busy. Pool is usually rammed with chavs, but the snooker room is quieter and you can have a decent game. I'm not sure if the rileys in loughborough is 24/7 but back here in ipswich it is, and i know it's cheapest to go after 12! lol! although during term time, it's unlikely that you'll go there, well, depends on your degree i guess!

there's also the new Sports Bar which has opened up above Burton.
I've been in and as far as i recall there were some tables in there. Altho was a tad drunk.
They also had plasma screens which I would assume would be playing Live sport if other Sports Bars are anything to go by!!
the question is : do u have to put in coins into the snooker tables or are they free for u to use?? i suppose they're free, but just in case...

The tables in halls are free, the ones in EHB are coin ones and at Rileys you pay by the hour.

Yeah, i think all the infos there.
- The are pool tables at JCs and EHB, both at coin operated, 60p a game. (£1.20 for two, £1.80 for three, etc)
- Some halls also have varous tables, in varous states!

Then theres reasonable sized rileys, with about 15 american-sized pool tables, 4 english-sized pool tables, and about 10/12 snooker tables, as well as a big screen (and pro evo tornaments on certain days)
- You have to have at least one member, memebership is about £6 one-off fee, and any member can bring in a guest for about £4 per night. (so its basicaly worth just all being members)
- Then you pay per hour for the table(s) which usally works out at about a fiver a night if you spit it between you, less if theres more people, obvoulsy!

Basicaly, your well set. Enjoy!

Im a rileys member in my home town.

But we have "play all day" tables. Pay a 10er and you can play unlimited. Not available in Luffbro?

I'm not aware of that, but you'll have to investigate that when you get here, or there, considering i'm home now! haha! Here in Ipswich, after mid-night, it's a set amount for the table as long as you want, which i think is the same at most rileys, that's not what you mean is it?
Well thers two times of day for Rileys in Sutton. The Day and the Night. If i went in at 11am and asked for a play all day table. I'd pay my 10pound for a pool table or 15pound for a snooker table and could play until 6pm.
