Ill for a whole month

I have a doctors appointment on Friday but until then I was hoping I could receive some advice.

Since 5th June this year I've been hitted pretty badly by colds and viruses and this weekend I thought I was getting better until yesterday when I got hit by a terrible cough that makes me feel wheezy and my chest feel sore, aches and pains and a horribly congested nose. Now this is going to sound minging but my body won't stop developing phelm and wot-not and I have terrible headaches and have been sick because of my cough.

What is happening to my body? I'm usually a pretty healthy person and only 18.

Could it be a weakened immune system?
summer fever?

Could be so many different things it's probably not worth asking for suggestions here, and if it is viral you can't do anything apart from wait it out. Just keep yourself in bed, keep taking paracetamol/ibuprofen and keep drinking lots until you visit the doctor. Hope you get well soon!:p:

I know about the fact viruses and colds cannot be cured and that they have to be waited out but has anyone got any suggestions as to why my body has been battered by colds and viruses for a whole month - I promise you that this is no exaggeration.

My friend has just had Glandular Fever but it doesn't leave you for a while afterwards.....i wish she would get better already.
it could be a chest infection, but only your doctor can tell you that for sure, so go to your doctor as soon as.
what colour phlegm are you bringing up out of interest?

Had glandular fever for 13 months, symptoms:
blocked head
achey
tired/severe fatigue
weak immunity so more colds etc.
depression
really achey glands esp. in the neck.

Well, the doctor says it's probably glandular fever. No one knows really. I hope yours isn't because it's not fun. Get well soon
