Flies On Food! YUK!

Okay so I just went to a famous pie shop for my dinner. I got five potato cakes, a flaky pasty and a lovely cream doughnut.

I put the potato cakes in the toaster, my cream doughnut on a plate on the side and left the room for two seconds. I come back in and there's a fly hovering around my cream doughnut!

I was at the door so I shouted it at it really loud "GET OUT!' then I got up to it and hit it away. My sister was there though and she didn't bother keeping it off my food.

Anyway...now I really don't want to eat it because flies are filthy and they disgust me and just thinking where its been, and what I'd be putting in my mouth makes me sick. But cream doughnuts are so nice!

Anyway, is anyone else like this? Should I eat it?

Eat it. It won't kill you.
i would eat it....But, your views on flies suggests to me that you should through it away...or post it too me
If you're really bothered, scrape off the outside edge of the doughnut. Then recoat the new layer with icing sugar so you don't miss out on one of the most important aspects of doughnuttyness. Consume.

Or stop being a wuss and just eat it.
It's just I know its probably been swimming in cow dung...and surfing down a cows arse...

But cream doughnuts are so nice...I hate flies.

Also, there was a HUGE moth in the house last night...I killed it. Like 10x normal size. Thought it was a bat at first...stupid mutant summer insects.
I have to say I couldn't really care less if there had been a fly on my food.
I know...maybe I have some sort of fly OCD...
well yes it looks like that....ooo 199th post

i like moths. i think there quite cute
Why would you kill a pretty little innocent moth. They don't even have teeth or claws or stingers. That's just cowardly. I hope you get fly poo poisoning.

DID YOU KNOW:

That when a fly lands on your food, it is too hard for the fly to do anything to it. Alas it decides to vomit over your food to soften it up

Yes. It's called being saprophytic.

It is also preferable to lean away from 'OMGZ IT VOMITS ON YOUR FOOOOD!!!!111' and towards 'it excretes digestive enzymes onto your food'.

Moths are vile and disgusting. They have invaded my flat and I have developed evil feelings towards them.

Eating a doughnut after a fly has been on it is fine. We probably eat all kinds of **** we don't realise.

wash it with soap

Sorry, you're eating 6 fatty, lard laden cakes in one go and you're worried about a fly? What happened to the flaky pasty? Did the fly knick it? Is your sister the guarder of the food? Are you a real person? What does injust mean?

Yay!

Scene set. Is this going anywhere? (prolly not)

I was at the door so I shouted it at it really loud "GET OUT!' then I got up to it and hit it away.

You shouted at it? It's a fly - it doesn't undertand. Then you hit it? Do you hit everything that doesn't understand english? God help the tourists!

My sister was there though and she didn't bother keeping it off my food.

Why should she? You bought lots of food to stuff your face with. What did you get your sister? My guess is nada.

Anyway...now I really don't want to eat it because flies are filthy and they disgust me and just thinking where its been, and what I'd be putting in my mouth makes me sick. But cream doughnuts are so nice!

So don't eat it. Offer it to your poor unloved sister.
