Hey,
Has anyone else applying for Paramedic Science received their invitation yet?
And does anyone who may have been to one before know what to expect? I know there will be a literacy and numeracy test and if successful an interview in the afternoon...
I'm very nervous about this because I've heard that a lot of people who apply are usually older and with a lot of experience (such as already qualified nurses and care professionals).

I've heard that as well, although it didn't say that we would be doing one on the letter I received. I can't imagine it being a fitness test at Army standards though because a lot of Paramedics I see are mahoosive anyway!
yeah aha, when I went to the open day there apparently you have to do the bleep test and be able to lift a certain amount, aswell as a grip strength. Apparently the grip strength is what most girls fail on! I refuse to fail on it
I didnt see anything about it in the letter I received either!

I'm the most nervous about the bleep test, I'm not a particularity fast runner to be honest

You can apply for both campuses?!
I have been invited to the one at Avery hill on the 30th, I hope we get more info soon, would like to know what to expect, or at least the time so I can book train tickets from Norwich

My name is Oli Cubitt, feel free to add me on fb. And no, I havent been to an open day, ive had a look round main campus at half term but other than that interview will be my 1st real look round
Travelodge and trains booked feeling a lot more relaxed about the process now
