Describe the human capital model of migration and explain why it predicts the following in inter-regional migration:
(i) a regions net migration (in-migration minus out-migration rate) is positively related to its average wage relative to other regions
(ii) A regions net migration rate will be negatively related to its unemployment rate relative to other regions.
(iii) Gross migration rates between regions will be negatively related to the distance between them.
(iv) Gross migration rates will be higher for the young than for the old.
