It's probably not all that likely, but you should wear protection regardless, to avoid STDs and such.

I'm not too sure on this but I think you should just assume that you're likely to get pregnant any time of the month if you don't use protection. Extra incentive to be careful. Otherwise you might make the mistake of thinking it's safer than it is, and then whoopsie, hello baby. :frown:

How many days after are you more at risk of getting preganant? and can you get preganant one day after period?

You are most likely to get pregnant around 10-14 days after your period starts regardless of when it ends. But it is entirely possible to get pregnant if you have unprotected sex either earlier or later than this. So you should use contraception of some sort whenever you have sex, and condoms if you haven't both been STI checked.

If you're asking this question because you've done this and want some reassurance, then all I can say is you're not LIKELY to be pregnant but it's very possible. All you can do now is wait until your next period is due and take a test if it doesn't come. And don't do it again!

You can get pregnant at any time during the cycle, even during the period. There are two reasons for this. Firstly, sperm can survive for several days, and secondly, even if you have a regular perod the ovaries sometimes release eggs in the middle of the cycle. Thu you need to use contraceptives no matter what part of teh cycle you are on.

If you are trying to get pregnant its a good idea not to think of it too much. Stress can redeuce the chance of conception, so its probably better to just stop using contraceptives and be a bit patient about it.

I always use condoms.
Anytime of the month.

Yeah it is more risky around the time of ovulation, but it is also possible at anytime. Always use protection unless you want to get pregnant!
