hi, i'm looking to pursue a financial career. my school wasn't available to do work experience in years 10 and 11, and i'm looking to do some in order to gain some insight in how finance jobs work.

however, i have no idea how to look for them or how to apply or when. is there any websites relating? i couldn't find any following a few searches. is the work experience difficult? i'm happy to do any kind of financial experience.

i live in east midlands if that makes any significance!

(edit; forgot to mention, i'm 17 - in year 12)

This may be a good place to start as it has some links to big companies offering work experience

Another option would be to contact local accountants to see if they would be able to help. Summer is often a quieter time for them and you may be able to get a one or two week placement during the summer holidays.

Good luck
