Why didn't you do pharmacy?
If you ever bump into a guy called Sean who's doing pharmacology at UCL .... I'll be very surprised. He never goes to lectures, tutorials, exams ... I'm not even sure if he knows where exactly UCL is actually.

Pharmacy = distributing drugs.

Pharmacology = making drugs.

I know which I'd choose! :biggrin: (pharmacology)

Pharmacology is nothing about making drugs...

It's about the effects of drugs on the body...

If your idea of pharmacology is you get to try out a load of drugs and see what happens you'll have to self-experiment :wink:...

Plus you have a couple of 8 hour practicals for pharmocolgy in the third year - it's insane - but you picked it!

What I said = very simplified version. What I meant is that many people with pharmacology degrees end up in the drug-making process.

You lawyers cannot admit to being wrong...

Even when you are clearly incorrect...

I want an official letter of apology :wink:
That's because we can always see a way of making ourselves partially right :p: Theoretically, that is.

The problem with this theory is that you have to assume that I'm part wrong... and so it can't be a credible theory!

And so can pharmacists.

The pharmacologists don't actually make any drugs ... they basically just test them on animals if we're simplifying things.

Yeah but (as I understand it) more pharmacists end up in chemists.
Maybe around 50% will yeah ... but I was trying to say it's not impossible for a pharmacist to work in drug development as the course encompasses pharmacology, chemistry and formulation science.
No, course not :smile:
