Ear Wax

can anyone recommend someething to get rid of ear wax, do otex drops work? :smile:

Warm olive oil, and put a tiny amount (no more than a teaspoon) in your ear. Lie on one side for a while to allow it to soak in, and then repeat to the other ear if necessary.

Remember where you're putting the olive oil, and don't warm it too much!

constant cleaning with cotton buds and dig it out. LOL they do have a thin metal instrument that looks lethal for it.

I get earwax quite badly inside my ear with a a dark orange/ brown buildup every 3 days or so. I dont really go in deep, and i dont know why i get such an excessive amount?

You really shouldn't be pushing big cotton buds into your ears, any you don't get hold of just goes deeper into your ear, making the problem worse. Just get otex and see if it works, can't hurt really.

Word of warning i used Otex and it gave me an ear infection it was horrible!

Cotton buds...

Hopi Ear Candles are best, usually homeopathic practioners will do them, or you can buy them online and get a friend to do them.

Cotton buds are bad! They just dig the wax in further and don't drag it out. Then it clogs round your eardrum and causes infections.

what ever you do no cotton buds, they just simply push half the ear wax back, my aunty had to go to the hospital for that!!! no cotton buds lol

Just get some ear drops and cotton wool and keep it in overnight. If the problem gets really bad then you might have to get your ears syringed at the doctors. Usually a nurse or medical assistant will deal with this.

'audiclean' is the best thing around at the moment(a spray), those ear drops don't tend to work at all for a lot of people.
Also, as people have already said no cotton buds.
